The ATI R.E.S. (Rotary Electro-Hydraulic System) Rack and Pinion series delivers a robust, reliable design with easy installation and low maintenance requirements. Designed for a wide range of torques, this product provides both reliability and a lower cost than an equivalent electric actuator. The R.E.S. consists of either single-acting, spring return fail safe operation or double-acting, fail in place operation actuators, mounted 100% duty cycle electric motor, motor starter, hydraulic pump, reservoir, directional control valve, and electrical controls. In the event of a power loss, the valve will automatically go to the fail position by means of the springs in the actuator or remain in place.
ATI’s R.E.S. utilizes hydraulic power to operate a Rack & Pinion valve actuator. Along with a wide range of system sizes, each actuator permits variable torque by means of an adjustable relief valve. In order to maintain the self contained system and allow for the minimal maintenance time of 5 years, an oil filter/screen is included in the return line at the tank to enhance the life of the system. The unit can be 24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, or 480VAC powered. Local, remote, and manual operation are standard. The control system is designed for hazardous areas up to Class 1 Division 1 with certified electrical components.
