Limit Switches

ATI offers a full array of limit and proximity switches to meet any application. The switches are rigidly attached to the actuator using custom-designed switch brackets. The rigid construction ensures accurate reading of the valve travel limits even in the harshest conditions.

For close-coupled applications, where the piston rod is applying force directly to a valve or damper, there may not be space to allow for conventional switches triggered by a tail rod or valve coupler. In this case, ATI offers fiberglass cylinders with magnets triggered by the piston movement inside the cylinder. Alternatively, an LVDT could be used.
