Valve Automation - Valve Actuator

Power Plant Solutions

Conventional Power

Conventional Power

Coal, Natural Gas, or Combined Cycle plants have relied on ATI actuators for years. The severe service nature of our design coupled with our ability to provide accurate control ability in high thrust applications has given ATI a strong reputation in this industry. Whether it is high pressure steam bypass, turbine bypass, or other critical areas of your power plant, rely on ATI actuators to give you a high level of performance time and time again.

Control valve companies have put their trust in ATI actuators on many power plant projects. In fact, you will find our name in many specifications. Our proven quality and ability to provide an actuator that can save the plant money by supporting the control valve's ability to throttle accurately.

The power industry should have the best control ability of its emissions and ATI understands its role in plant efficiency.

Solar Power

Solar PowerSolar Power has been gaining acceptance as environmental concerns become more prevalent. ATI's flexible automation solutions are appropriate when new ideas are introduced in the power industry. We are committed to helping engineering companies design valve automation products that satisfy the project's environmental goals while also recognizing the increased economic pressure of such projects.

Solar Power

Our hydraulic intensifier actuators (air-to-hydraulic pressure) recently were selected for a new solar project in Nevada. The customer needed actuators that would provide extremely high thrust for steam valves at the plant. The plant could only supply 60 psig of air pressure which required large actuators to provide the necessary thrust. ATI provided a power system using the 60 psig of air to drive small hydraulic pumps which produced higher pressure so that smaller hydraulic actuators could be used. Although the system was more complex than pneumatic actuators alone, the solution decreased the capital cost of the project.
